This website is dedicated to my beautiful wife who took this image in October of 2003 one crisp autumn morning at our home in upstate New York.

Autumn has always been my favorite season. The cool nights and mornings, mild days, the colors of the trees, the smell of apples and pumpkins, frost blanketing the morning ground with white cyrstals.

I have been fortunate to have lived in places in the United States where we get to see these fall displays of orange, yellow and red. Over the years, we've taken some beautiful photos and seen some beautiful sites.

So why Autumn Evening ? Well, in September of 2004, I was on the way home on an overcast autumn evening. The sun was hanging low in the sky and breaking randomly through the grey clouds, brilliantly illuminating various patches of autumn color. There was a batch of trees alongside road that was litterally glowing yellow in the late autumn sunlight. It was at that moment that I wished I had my camera in an attempt to try to capture the amazing surreal light and colors of the trees contrasted against the dark grey of the clouds... but unfortunately I didn't and that moment was lost forever.

I then thought about all the amazing images that my wife and I have captured with our camera, and wanted to build a place to share those images with others... and though that maybe others might have images that they too wanted to share.

So as one welcomes friends into their home, I'd like to welcome you into my site. Please feel free to take a leisurely stroll the galleries. If you have some images that you'd like to share, you can upload them on our guest submission page (guidelines here). And if you want to share any special fall memories or comments, please visit our guestbook page.

Thanks for stopping by and we hope you enjoy your visit.
